The acting UQU President and the Vice-President for Postgraduate studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi chaired on Thursday Dhul-Qe'dah 22, 1437H  the first meeting of  postgraduate studies council for the new academic year 1437/1438H at the deanship meetings hall in the university campus in Abdyiah. The meeting was attended by the Dean of Postgraduate Studies Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Firaih and the Vice-Deans of the Postgraduate Studies.

   
In the commencement of the meeting, the Acting UQU President welcomed the attendees and lauded the efforts of the Dean of the Postgraduate Studies, the Vice Deans and the Vice Deans of the College. He praised their efforts and giving  to serve the university. Further, he referred to the importance of abiding by the regulations and collaboration between the colleges and the deanship of postgraduate studies in such manner which achieves students' interest and upgrade the university.  

For his part, Prof. Al-Firaih extended his thanks to the acting UQU President, Dr. Al-Harbi for his distinctive attendance. He said through the support it receives from the top leadership of the university, the deanship of postgraduate studies is running the programs of the postgraduate studies in terms of planning, organization and development in line with the rules and regulations and in such manner which serves the individual, realizes community development and contributes to solve its problems.
