A group of male and female students from the Department of Physics at the College of Applied Medical Sciences participated in the Spring Enrichment Program SEP2018 at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) from April 29 to May 3, 2018.

The program tackled "City of the Future" theme, which was presented through a number of prominent speakers in different fields that are related to the academic and scientific aspects and the business aspects inside and outside the Kingdom. The speakers discussed the main challenges that face the cities and how to address them through the cooperation between the universities, research centers and private sectors, such as traffic congestion, pollution, water scarcity, high amount of wastes, and offering an environment that is suitable for living of excellent quality. This is in addition to various topics and discussion that enriched the program and opened horizons and visions that would shape the future of the participants in such events.
