Deanship of Admission and Registration has announced dates and procedures of general admission for the coming academic year 1439/1440 H via the unified admission e-portal for those who desire to join its undergraduate level programs through the three medical, administrative and engineering & computer streams of the preparatory year besides the direct admission, and the programs of the evening qualifying and preparatory year, in addition to the diploma programs. The number of students proposed to be admitted is 15 thousand male and female students in the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah and Adhm provinces.

In this regard, the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim bin Ahmed Al-Samadani said the first admission phase, for those willing to join  the university programs for the coming academic year 1439/1440 H via the unified e-portal using five steps, is represented in;  registering personal information from Ramadan 5 until Shawal 9, 1439 H. Its followed by the second phase which is reckoned the most important one and include submitting admission requests and selecting majors from Shawal 10 to 12, 14339 H. He noted that the applicants must follow up the admission e-portal during the third phase from Shawal 17 to 28, 1439 H represented in conducting tests and interviews for the majors requiring such a thing. 

While the fourth phase he said, include the eligibility measurement to be carried out electronically by the Deanship of Admission and Registration in the period from Dhul-Qe'dah 2 to 3, 1439 H, which is followed by the fifth phase of admission confirmation in the period from Dhul-Qe'dah 4 to 10, 1439 H.  He added English language proficiency tests for the students accepted in the  three medical, administrative and engineering & computer streams of the preparatory year will be carried out in the period from Dhul-Qe'dah 16 to 20, 1439 H.  

Further, Dr. Al-Samadani said this will be followed by the admission to the Evening qualification year program and the evening preparatory year and the diplomas of the community service and continuing education in the period form Dhul-Qe'dah 16 to 20, 1439 H to be followed by the eligibility measurement to be carried out electronically by the Deanship of Admission and Registration in the period from Dhul-Qe'dah 23 to 25, 1439 H. Thenو results of admission to the evening qualification year program and the evening preparatory year will be declared and the fees must be settled from Dhul-Qe'dah 26 until Dhul-Hijjah 5, 1439 H.   

He went on to add that admission for the programs of the college of education excluding  the kindergarten programs at the female's section,  and the physical education programs at the males section, are suspended this year awaiting updating these programs to keep pace with the Kingdom Vision 2030 as per the directives of the Ministry of Education in this regard.
