The UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail  Assas, has taken an administrative decision designating the faculty member in the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture Dr. Mohamed bin Wasil bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Hazmi as an Advisor to the UQU President as of Sha'ban 14, 1439 H. The decision comes within the endeavors of  developing different departments of the university.  It goes also in line with its keen interest in leveraging its scientific, academic and administrative competencies as best as possible, in such a manner that would develop performance, and make optimal use of the university's human resources. The UQU President, Prof. Bafail wished him good luck in his new position and called upon him to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
 

For his part, Dr. Al-Hazmi valued the confidence entrusted in him by the UQU President for designating him as an Advisor to the UQU President assuring that with Allah's blessing, he will be up to the UQU President's expectation and that he will dedicate his scientific, administrative and academic experiences to upgrading the educational environment in the university and its branches to become a unique example in keeping pace with the international universities.
