Wadi Makkah Startups Pavilion in Souq Okaz "Future Okaz Tent" has significantly attracted large numbers of visitors because of the pioneering technology products showcased  in it. 
 
Wadi Makkah startups showcased their various products including; the interactive map of Okaz poets running based on the augmented reality technology and providing introductory presentation for the owners of the Seven Arab Odes, the Smart cities (Averos) CoreBlue wireless sensor which attracted the attention of the visitors for being fully manufactured in Makkah under the umbrella of "Made in Makkah" initiative. The product was applied in collaboration with Indoor Navigation Navi Bees Company inside the Grand Mosques by featuring a 3D map of the location and providing voice navigation for pilgrims and visitors to the requested locations. That is to be added to the products of other Wadi Makkah startups such as; Tawseel,  Taghreed, Smart Hajj, Soft Care, Bio Kubes and etc..    

 
 
Further, the startups' pavilion dedicated "try it yourself" corner  that  allowed the visitors to try installing electrical circuits by themselves with the help of one of Wadi Makkah technicians. The corner attracted the attention of a large number of visitors for its practical nature which helped them identify the concept of electrical circuits and the method of its installation. 
 
 For his part, Wadi Makkah PR Official, Dr. Majed Abdullah expressed his delight for participating in such magnificent event together with many other well-known companies in the fields of technology and innovation.   "Such forums are reckoned  good opportunity to showcase the innovative products of Wadi Makkah startups", he added .


Concluding, he applauded the support and concern attached to Wadi Makkah and the startups by  UQU President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Technology Company Dr. Bakri Assas and the Vice-President for Business & Innovation and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Wadi Makkah Dr. Nabil bin Abdul Qader Koshak.
