 Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Governor of Makkah Prince Khalid Al-Faisal paid a visit to the pavilion of the startups of Wadi Makkah Technology Company upon opening the Future Okaz tent including a number of government agencies within the events of the 10th edition of the historic Souq Okaz Festival on Wednesday Dhul-Qe'dah 7, 1437H. He was accompanied by the President & Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud,  Taif Governor Fahd bin Muammar, President of Taif University Dr. Hussam bin Abdulwahab Zaman, and the Assistant Deputy Governor for rights in Makkah Prince Faisal bin Mohammed. 

 

Meanwhile, Al-Faisal was received at the pavilion by the executive director of technology in Wadi Makkah Technology Company, Dr. Salih Baslama, the Director of the Technical Innovation Center in Wadi Makkah Company, Anas Mohammad Saleh Basalamah, Business Development Director, Dr. Akram Nour, and the Supervisor General of Public Relations in Wadi Makkah Technology Company, Dr. Magid Abdullah.


During the visit, Dr. Magid Abdullah provided a detailed presentation on the latest products of one of the Startups of Wadi Makkah represented in the interactive map of Okaz Poets manufactured depending on the  augmented reality technology. He added the participation of Wadi Makkah Startups in such events is aimed at introducing the products and services offered by Wadi Makkah in several fields including; transportation technologies, crowd management, smart cities and buildings technology and health technologies.  

 
For  his part, Dr. Akram Nour, provided a detailed presentation about the indoor navigation application a product of Indoor Navigation Company (NaviBees) one of the startups of Wadi Makkah, applied recently in the Grand Mosque.
