Umm Al-Qura University will celebrate tomorrow evening Saturday Shaaban 5, 1439 H graduation of 11,600 female students within the batch 45 from its main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah and Adhm, who obtained their degrees this academic year including; Ph.D., Master, High Diploma, BA, and diplomas of the College of Community. The celebration will be attended by the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, and Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi. The celebration will take place at King Saud Grand Hall for celebrations at the university campus in Abdyia.
On this occasion, the UQU President Professor Abdullah bin Omar Bafail congratulated the female graduates of this year wishing them all success in their coming practical life. "They will contribute to serving their community making use of the sciences they are equipped with in various fields of knowledge including; sharia, Arabic language, medical and scientific fields", he elaborated.
He then lauded the support attached by the wise leadership to the educational process in the university main campus and its branches in such manner which contributed to graduating highly- qualified national cadres with educational outcome fitting with the requirements of the labor market in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He also praised the support and directives of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Issa.
For her part, the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy said; celebrating the female graduates of this year, proceeds from the keenness of the university to share graduation joy with them in such occasions because they are representing the educational process in the university. " We are proud to celebrate the graduation of this batch of our female students who will be constructive figures in their community and will participate in the comprehensive development of the Kingdom", she expounded.
In turn, the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala Al-Amoudi said the deanship will celebrate this year graduation of the largest batch since the establishment of the university including 11,600 female students in all academic programs provided by the university at the post-graduation level, Bachelor degree and community diplomas. She added that the celebration of female graduates of the batch 45 includes the female graduates of the second semester and summer semester of the academic year 1437/1438 H and female graduates of the first semester of the academic year 1438/1439 H wishing them more progress and success.
