Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafeel, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), today, received Mr. Hatem bin Abdul-Hamid Khaimi, head of Al-Wehda (Unity) Club, at his office in the University City of Al-Abediya.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Khaimi congratulated Dr. Bafeel on his appointment as a president for the university upon a royal decree. For his part, UQU President extended his congratulations to Mr. Khaimi on his designation as the head of Al-Wehda Club; praying to Allah- the Almighty- to help him in serving the club and Makkah community, and to lead Al-Wehda Club to the podiums.
They, during the meeting, discussed the cooperation between the university and the club, and activating cultural and sports aspects to serve Makkah community.
