Admission Deanship Participates in Awareness & Education Forum for Secondary School Students in Makkah

Under the patronage of UQU President, and in the presence of Dr. Abdelaziz bin Rashad Suroji, UQU vice president for Educational Affairs; the Deanship of Admission and Registration participated in the Awareness and Education Forum for the secondary schools’ 3rd grade students. It was organized by the Deanship of Students Affairs on Monday 30/07/1439 Ah, and Tuesday 1/8/1439, at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abediya. 

The deanship participated by a speech that Dr. Hashem bin Ahmed Al-Samadani, dean of the Admission and Registration Deanship, delivered during the forum in which he welcomed the students and the education department officials. He stressed on the deanship’s pivotal role in receiving the students and taking care of them academically until they graduated. He finished his speech by giving some advice to the students.

Also, Dr. Khaled bin Thamer Al-Thaqfi, vice dean of the Admission and Registration Deanship, presented a session entitled “Selecting the University Major”. He talked about the admission mechanism, stages and requirements as well as the exams that the student should take to enroll in the university. Moreover, he explained the available majors, programs and others.

This participation comes within the framework of the cooperation between the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Deanship of Students Affairs to make the students aware of the systems and procedures of Umm Al-Qura University.
