The Advisory Research and Studies Institute (girls section) organized a course titled “Visual Interpretation of Satellite Images”. The course was delivered by trainer Dr. Basma Al-Rahaily, faculty member at the College of Social Sciences, at the Department of Geography, on Monday, 17 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH. The types of satellite visuals and the basis of reading them were introduced to the attendees, alongside with the keys of visual interpretations of satellite images, and the visual interpretation of a number of geographical phenomena from satellite images. The attendees were trained to understand the visual interpretation mechanism.
The attendees expressed their satisfaction with the workshop, and were given attendance certificates at the end of the training that were approved by the Support of Professional Accreditation Vice Deanship. The Institute extends its thanks to the trainer for delivering the course, and asks God to Grant her success.
