President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas has taken a number of administrative decisions.

According to Dr. Assas' Advisor Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margoushi, the decisions included the following:

1. Naming Dr. Saeed bin Hashim Mohamed Halawani Vice-dean of Student Affairs for Guidance, Counseling and Community Partnership. His six-month term is effective from Ramadan 24, 1437H.
2. Naming Dr. Mastour bin Ali Ibrahim Al Faqeeh Vice-dean of Student Affairs in Al-Qunfudah. His six-month term is effective from Rajab 01, 1437H.
3. Naming Dr. Mohamed bin Othman Aboud Al Kurdi Vice-dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences for Academic Development and Community Services. His two-year term is effective Shawal 2, 1437H.
4. Naming Dr. Sahel bin Abdullah bin Sa'dul Din Wahid Vice-dean of the Institute of Consulting Research for Professional Support. His six-month term is effective from Shaaban 27, 1437H.
5. Extending mandate of Dr. Khaled bin Mohamed bin Yusuf Altuwaim as head of Islamic Education at the College of Education for two years. The new term starts on Ramadan 24, 1437H.
6. Naming Dr. Hussein bin Hassan bin Hussein Abu Al Reish head of the Department of Biology at the College of Applied Sciences. He would also keep his post as Vice-dean of the College for Educational Affairs. His six-month term for the new job is effective as of Ramadan 25, 1437H. 
7. Naming Dr. Abdel Salam bin Abdurrahman bin Abdulqader Wali new head of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine. His two-year term starts on Ramadan 26, 1437H.
8. Naming Dr. Lulwa bint Saleh Aied Al Harethy Vice-dean of Student Affairs for Student Services (Girls Section) for six month as of Shawal 17, 1437H.
9. Naming Ms. Majeda bint Abdel Jalil Saeed Farhan Vice-dean of Al-Qunfudah University College for Academic Development and Community Service (Girls section). She keeps her post as head of the Department of Family Education. Her six-month term is effective Ramadan 27, 1437H.
10. Naming Ms. Huda bint Hamdan Atyan Al Mohamedy Vice-dean of Al-Qunfudah University College for Educational Affairs (Girls Section). Her six-month term is effective Ramadan 27, 1437H.
11. Naming Ms. Aisha bint Rashid bin Mohamed Al Marhaby Vice-dean of Al-Qunfudah University College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research (Girls Section). Her six-month term is effective Ramadan 27, 1437H.
