With unprecedented success, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, represented in the Vice Deanship of the College for Development and Community Service, held an event named “A Life from My Life) on Sunday 1 Rajab 1438AH at Al-Diyafa Market in Makkah. The event was held in cooperation with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, the Saudi Log for Stem Cells Donors, and Al-Khayat Center For Dialysis.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the goals and benefits of donating blood, stem cells and human organs.
The Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences pointed out the importance of its role as well as the role of the University in spreading the culture of health awareness among the members of the society. He added that it is a key role for the University in general. The College of Applied Medical Sciences specifically makes lots of efforts in this regard, which emphasize the college's awareness of its society and its surroundings, and highlights its effort to contribute to solving the issues of this society.
He thanked the students of the college who contributed with their enthusiasm to making the event successful as always, making the College of Applied Medical Sciences stand out.
The event was attended by the Vice Dean of the College for Development and Community Service, Dr. Mohamed Al-Karbi, and the Vice Dean of the College for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Maher Al-Indijani, in addition to a group of the college’s faculty members.
