UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs: Educational Programs Will be Updated According to Labor Market Needs

UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy underlined that all resources and technologies provided by our wise government will be harnessed at the university main campus in Makkah and the branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces to upgrade the educational and research environment in line with the National Transformation Plan 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030. She noted female students registered in the university for the academic year 1438/1439 H exceeds 55 thousand enrolled in all programs of the university including graduate studies (Ph.D., MSc, and Higher Diploma).

   

This came during the meeting she held with the Dean of University Studies for Girls Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi and a number of female leaders including Vice Deans of University Studies for Girls in the university campuses at Azizia, Rea Zhakhir and Al-Mansour besides Vice Deans of the University Branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah and Adhm. The meeting took place at King Faisal Hall at the university campus in Abdyia.  

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy explained that she will embark during the coming period on studying the extent of labor market need from the programs provided by the university and updating them in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 so as to contribute to providing high quality and effective educational programs in the developmental aspects which have strategic dimensions. She added that the educational and administrative environment will be prepared in an attractive manner for science and learning. She then lauded the keenness of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to provide the educational and research environment which upgrades aspirations of the female students in the university.
