Umm Al-Qura University will celebrate tomorrow Wednesday Jumada Al-Thani 19, 1439 H corresponding to March 7, 2018 the achievements and programs of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute, and UQU Consultations Oasis under the theme: "Our Harvest.. Our Future", in the presence of the UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas and the Institute's partners from the public and private sectors. The celebration will take place at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall at the university campus in Abdyia.    

 

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas lauded the support attached by the wise leadership to the university and its programs which contributed to localization of knowledge-based economy. He also lauded the keenness of the Advisor to Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and the Deputy Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bander and their attention paid to the university's projects and activities.  He also lauded the follow up of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Eissa to the activities and programs of the university. He noted that Umm Al-Qura Oasis will provide studies and consultancy services and certified professional development with the purpose of transferring knowledge to beneficiaries by such mean of harnessing the university's human, physical and knowledge capacities and building strategic partnerships at the local and international levels. 

 

For his part, the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari said the Institute will celebrate its achievements of the previous year including; UQU Consultations Oasis which provides services in the educational, administrative, social, media, information technology, sharia, regulations, engineering and health fields. He added that these services will be provided through Faran City for Rehabilitation and Hospitalization, The Centre for Safety, Risk and Crisis Management (SAFE), Unit of Continuing Medical Education, Engineering Training and Development Unit and the Professional Development for Teachers and Educational Leaders Unit (PDTELU).

 

He went on to add that since the inception of the Kingdom Vision 2030, the Institute embarked on updating its educational, training and qualification programs to produce, transfer and localize knowledge and technology and provide studies and consultancy services and professional development for public and private sectors and the community. He then lauded the support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas which contributed to the excellence of the Institute in several fields.
