UQU President Receives Head of (Ekhaa) Foundation - Makkah Branch

Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, Umm Al-Qura University President, received Mr. Mahana Al-Sherief, the Head of “Ekhaa” Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care - Makkah branch and a number of the foundation’s officials today at his office in the University City in Al-Abediya. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Khaled Barqawi, the Dean of the College Community Service and Continuous Education.

At the beginning of the meeting, the UQU President welcomed everyone, highlighting that the cooperation of the university is out of its community role with all the governmental institutions, especially those that are operating in the orphans care. He pointed to the care being given by the wise government, led by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Crown Prince to the social institutions in the Kingdom in general and to the orphans care foundations in particular. Dr. Bakri then wished success to the Head of the Foundation and the team working in this field for what they offer of great services to this precious category in the Saudi society.

After that, Dr. Mahana expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the UQU President for his efforts and the role of the university in serving the society’s institutions in general and “Ekhaa” Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care - Makkah branch in particular and benefiting from the outputs of the specialists in the field of social service and scientific research that contribute to developing the work in these institutions and promoting the services offered to this important part of the country. He added that he is looking forward to increasing the cooperation between the university and the foundation’s branch in Makkah.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of “Ekhaa” Charitable Foundation for Orphans Care - Makkah branch gave a symbolic gift to the UQU President.
