The Minister of Education H.E. Dr. Ahmed Bin Mohamad Al-Issa issued a decision appointing Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy as the acting UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs for a tenure of three years.
The decision of the Minister of Education is intended to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 with regard to women and their affairs and as part of the attention and keenness of the wise leadership provided for women. In this sense, the Saudi women have been empowered by boosting her talent and capacities and enabling her to effectively participate in decision making at the public and private sectors levels.
Meanwhile, the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas congratulated Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy for designating her as the acting UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs and for gaining the confidence of the Minister of Education to take the responsibility of serving her nation and community in such leading position dedicated to serve the university affiliates including; students, faculty members and employees. He also lauded the support provided by rulers to all categories of women in this nation to contribute and participate in the comprehensive national development. He then expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa for such step derived from the Kingdom Vision 2030 wishing all success to Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy in serving the university community.
For her part, the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for supporting and empowering Saudi women and giving her the deserved position branding the decision of the Minister of Education as coming in the interest of this wise orientation praising his confidence in her to assume the tasks of the UQU Vice Presidency for female Students Affairs. She also extended her thanks to the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his support provided for her when she took over a number of positions in the university.
