UQU President Sponsors Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the College of Designs and CRSI

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the College of Designs and the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies (CRSI) at UQU. This was today at his office in the Abdyia-based university campus, in the presence of UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi, Vice Dean of Designs College Dr. Sohail Al-Harbi, and the  Institute's Vice Dean for Professional Accreditation Dr. Raed bin Abdurrahman Shalwala.  The aim is to establish a fruitful and constructive cooperation between both parties in the areas of academia, science, education, research, training, culture, and development. The memorandum was signed by Dr. Hisham Abdul-Rahman Maghrabi, Dean of the College of Designs, and the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari.

 

UQU President showed approval of this move that took place between the College and the Institute, in the context of cooperation among the different sectors of UQU. He emphasized that this memorandum of understanding that was signed today is going to promote the joint cooperation between the two parties, and will contribute to developing the work system and the academic, educational, and research programs within UQU, and to upgrading its outputs. He also expressed his wishes to everyone for success in order to achieve the desired objectives.

 

In their turn, the Dean of the College of Designs Dr. Hisham Maghrabi and the Dean of the CRSI Dr. Ali Al-Shaari warmly thanked UQU President and expressed their deep appreciation to him for the attention he gives and for directly following up all UQU’s programs and supporting the objectives of such programs. They also stressed that everybody is working in order to upgrade the work system.


They both explained that this memorandum of understanding that was signed by the College and the Institute will contribute to the establishment of a joint cooperation between both parties in the various areas of academia, science, education, research, training, and culture, and to the work on developing the programs that are in line with national objectives. They added that this is to serve the learning and scientific process inside and outside the walls of UQU, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant everyone assistance and success.
