President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas approved on Sunday, Ramadan 14 the new structure of the UQU's committee at the Ministry of Finance that is assigned to discuss the university's budget. The committee is chaired by Vice-President Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho with the membership of Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Hany bin Othman bin Yassin Ghazi, Head of Projects Department Dr. Wadih Barqawi and Head of Budget and Planning Department Waleed Mohammad.S Abaas Simbawah.

During the meeting that was held at his office in Al-Abdiyah, Dr, Assas received the final draft budget of the year 1438/1439H. The meeting was attended by Dr. Shosho and Mr. Simbawah.

The vice-president briefed Dr. Assas about the draft budget's main items against the UQU's organizational structure. Also, they discussed necessary approvals needed to meet the Education Ministry's requirements of educational environment and facilities.

In the same context, Dr. Shosho said the Budget and Planning Department has participated to the pedagogical, practical and administrative programs in addition to the research studies that were made by the university for its students and employees. He thanked Dr. Assas for his support.

For his part, the UQU's President hailed the vice-presidency over efforts exerted to develop the draft budget and the organization structure.
