Institute of Consultation Studies Organizes Fire-fighting Training Program Using Computers

The Institute of Research and Consultation Studies at UQU, represented in the Engineering Development and Training Unit, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in Makkah, has held a training program about “Examining and Testing Fire-fighting Equipment Systems, Prototyping Fire Basics, and the System of Smoke Aspiration Using Computers” delivered by Eng. Wael bin Rashid Ali Al-Mihrizi over the course of three days at the hall of the Institute of Research and Consultation Studies at the university campus in Al-Abideyah.

The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shaeri, said that such courses come from the basis of cooperation between all government agencies and different sectors, pointing out that the objective of such cooperation is to provide everything that serves the country with the National Transition Plan 2020, in accordance with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. He praised the support the Institute receives from Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass, who contributed to the institute’s excellence in many aspects, whether in terms of training or consultancy.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Institute for Professional Accreditation, Dr. Raed bin Abdulrahman Shalwala, said that this course is part of the keenness of UQU, represented in the Institute, to serve the community and offer whatever serves science and knowledge, with the aim of providing developmental consultations and research, education and community services, as well as professional training programs.
