Prince Khaled Al Faisal, Emir of Makkah and advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has extended thanks to UQU's President Bakri bin Maatouk Bakry Assas after reviewing the closing statement and recommendations raised by the 5th round of the Teacher Education Conference which was organized by Umm Al Qura University.

The statement provided a list of suggestions and depicted the vision for the education process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The prince directed his thanks to Dr. Assas wishing him more success.

In turn, the UQU President underscored importance of Prince Al Faisal's support to the university, saying he provided instant help to the educational process. According to Dr. Assas, the university has developed its plans in line with the aspirations of the leaders of the kingdom to be carried out by the ministry of education under close supervision of Education Minister Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa.

The president shed light on efforts being exerted by the College of Education, under its dean Dr. Ali Mosleh Al Matrafi, to supply the labor market with highly qualified teachers.

For his part, Dr. Al Matrafi thanked Emir of Makkah for his keen directives and attention for raising the scientific and cognitive awareness. Also, he expressed gratitude to Dr. Assas for underpinning educational programs developed by the college.
