Deanship of Postgraduate Studies Invites 175 Male and Female Faculty Members from Saudi Universities to Conform their Documents

The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies at Umm Al-Qura University has invited 175 male and female candidates who applied for the graduate studies programs for the academic year 1439/1440 H from the teaching assistants and lecturers of the Saudi universities to proceed with conforming their documents starting from today until Jumada 15, 1439 H.  Males will be received at Abdyia campus, while females will be received at the deanship's headquarters in Al-Zahir. 

 

Meanwhile, the Dean of Postgraduate Studies Dr. Saeed bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Harthi has called upon all candidates to abide by the specific dates set for each program. He added that applicants to sharia programs, applied sciences, computer, information system and Arabic language, will be received from Jumada Al-Awla 4 to 6, 1439 H, while applicants to education, Islamic finance and economics, engineering and business administration programs, will be received from Jumala Al-Awla 7 to 11, 1439 H, and the applicants to the D'awa and Islamic theology, social sciences and judicial studies programs will be received from Jumada Al-Awla 14 to 16, 1439 H. He noted that all applicants including teaching assistants and lecturer of the Saudi universities will be received on Thursday Jumada Al-Awla 15, 1439 H.   


 Further, Dr. Al-Harthi said that all applicants must bring with them the following documents, the original and facsimile of the qualification (BA certificate for MA applicants, and MA certificate for PhD applicants),  original and facsimile of the transcript, original and facsimile of the National ID, original of the English learning certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, or the English Aptitude Certificate) according to the required degree,   letter of introduction from the affiliated university and the acceptance statement from UQU’s department of internal scholarships in addition to the University Aptitude Certificate, as required by each relevant college and program.


He went on to add that after sorting all the applications, 175 male and female candidates from the Saudi universities were selected for admission. He then lauded the support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas which contributed to implementing the admission process according to the previously set schedule. He also lauded the direct supervision of the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi to the work of the deanship praising also the efforts of the employees of the deanship.
