In implementation of the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to pay the government sector employees and retirees their annual bonus and the living expense allowance as well as increase the remuneration of students, the administration of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) began implementing the necessary procedures to amend the payroll sheets and salary systems of its staff. It will work to add the annual bonus and the living expense allowance in order to be disbursed starting from the next batch of salaries.
The Vice President of UQU, Dr. Yassir bin Soliman Shosho, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince on this occasion which left a great impact on all segments of citizens.
Shosho stressed that following the issuance of the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and under the guidance of UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass, UQU's Administration of Faculty Members and Staff Affairs immediately started to implement the Royal Decree, whether in terms of disbursing the annual bonus and the living expense allowance to the staff of the university, or increasing the university students’ remuneration by 10% according to the royal order, through the Deanship of Student Affairs.
He asked God to bless the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, Mohammed bin Salman, wishing that God helps them and their government to serve the country and the citizens as well as preserve security, safety and prosperity with their wise leadership.
