The Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim bin Ahmed Al-Samadani met with the Dean of Social Sciences College Dr. Mohamed bin Ahmed BaSagr and his accompanying delegation including; college vice deans and departments heads. The meeting which took place at the meeting hall at the university campus in Abdyia on Rabi Al-Thani 16, 1439 H. Present in the meeting were the vice deans and department heads of admission and registration deanships.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of Admission and Registration welcomed the Dean, vice deans and heads of the departments of Social Sciences College. The meeting discussed registration mechanisms and everything related to academic affairs. During the meeting, the Dean of Admission and Registration said that a new oracle screen was introduced showing (registration requests, deletion and section change) in which the approval is made by the head of the department after the student submits his request electronically without the need to refer to the department. He added that postponement and withdrawal requests are also available electronically.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean of Admission and Registration is endeavoring to transfer all its services to be conducted electronically. He then lauded the support of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas saying that such development in services comes in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
