The Members of the UQU Budget Allocation Standing Committee for the fiscal year 1439/1440 H, have approved the regulations and mechanisms to be followed in the disbursement process on the university programs, activities and projects in line with the National Transformation Plan and according to the Kingdom Vision 2030و during the meeting which was headed by the UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas at his office at the university campus in Abdyia.
At the commencement of the meeting, Dr. Assas valued the support attached to the university by the wise leadership which enabled it to create proper educational environment in line with the university status. He added that number of the enrolled students during the current academic year amounted to 120 thousand students in the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah an Adhm, who are being taught by more than 7 thousands highly-qualified faculty members.
He added that, as per the new approache adopted by the Ministry of Finance based on National Transformation Plan and in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030, the University Administration has set up its strategic disbursement plans for the years 2018-2019-2020 in such manner which will contribute to organization of projects under implementation praising the efforts exerted by the UQU Vice Presidents and the university budget team in the department of planning and budget.
For his part, the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou branded the university budget for the fiscal year 1439/1440 H as the budget of goodness and giving reflecting the support attached by the wise leadership to the programs of the public education in general and the university education in particular. He added that a workshop was held to define requirements of the different departments of the university to allocate the needed amounts required to upgrade the educational and research environment. He then lauded the support and directives of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas, UQU Vice Presidents and the affiliates of the department of planning and budget thus contributing to creating their attractive educational environments for science and learning.
