Founding Investment Committee at UQU Discusses Long and Short Term Plans

The President of UQU, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouk Assass, has headed the fifth meeting of the Founding Investment Committee at the university in order to look into the investment aspect and set the long and short-term strategic plans. The meeting took place at the meeting hall of Dr. Assass’s office at the university campus in Al-Abideyah.

Dr. Bakri bin Maatouk Assass explained that the investment return which the university plans to bring over the upcoming period will have a positive impact on enhancing the university’s revenues. In addition, UQU has always received and continues to receive support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Their support had the greatest impact on the advancement of the educational environment which was prepared based on the highest specifications and modern technological standards.

The meeting was attened by the Deputy Head of the Committee and Vice President of UQU, Dr. Yassir bin Soliman Shosho, and the committee members, including UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi; the Vice President of the University for Branches, Dr. Abdulmajeed bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi; the Vice Dean of Community and Continued Education College, Dr. Khalid Barqawi; the Dean of the Institute of Research and Consultation Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Shaerie; the Dean of the College of Islamic Economics and Finance, Dr. Saleh Al-Oqla; the Supervisor of Legal Management, Dr. Himdan Al-Ghamdi; the Dean of Community College, Dr. Khalid Al-Solimy; the CEO of Wadi Makkah Technology Company, Dr. Faisal Alaf; and the chairman of Wadi Al-Namaa Company, a subsidiary of Wadi Makkah Technology Company, Dr. Wadiea Barqawi.
