President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas received today the annual report of Deanship of Admission and Registration for the academic year 1437/1438 H and launched the report's e-version on the Deanship's website. This came while receiving at his office at the university campus in Abdyia today the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji, Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim bin Ahmed Al-Samadani, vice dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Khalid bin Thamir Al-Thaqafi, vice dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Hussam bin Hassan Hakami and Director of Dean of Admission and Registration Office, Mr. Bander Dahhas.  

He reviewed the report and its contents including the achievements of the deanship, its vice deanships, units and different departments and listened to a presentation by the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim Al-Samadani on the deanship's achievements for the academic year 1437/1438 H, general statistics of admission and academic affairs, registration, graduation, e-services, programs and activities organized by the deanship besides statistics of the students for the same period amounted to 91 thousands male and female students in addition to the numbers of faculty members in the university main campus in Abdyia and its branches in Al-Qunfudhah, Al-Lith, Jamoum and Adhm provinces.

Meanwhile. Dr. Assas lauded efforts exerted by the UQU Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs and the Deanship of Admission and Registration which yielded concrete successes and assisted the deanship to undertake its assigned role as the main gate through which the male and female students enter the university besides providing the students with all services enabling them to receive knowledge inside the university. He then praised everyone for the efforts exerted and contained in the deanship's annual report.    

For his part, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji valued keenness of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas in achieving the sought-after objectives. He also praised efforts exerted by the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim Al-Samadani and the staff of the deanships including vice deans and employees for undertaking their tasks properly in serving the university's male and female students.  

In turn, the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Al-Samadani expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas and UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji for their support and follow-up of all programs, services and activities provided by the Deanship of Admission and Registration for all male and female students of the university at all levels, in addition to its plans and developmental initiatives thus leading the deanship to make such achievements. He prayed Allah to grant them success to continue their achievement march.
