On behalf of UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou checked on today readiness to close current fiscal year budget to ensure that tasks assigned to the employees in the relevant authorities are completed by the end of Wednesday Rabi Al-Awal 25, 1439 H. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Shoushou lauded the support attached to the university by the wise government similar to other Saudi universities, thus enabling the university to provide the educational environment in line with Kingdom Vision 2030 at the level of the university main headquarter in Makkah and its branches at Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces. He also lauded the follow up of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Eesa of all works and activities undertaken by the university, praising also the close follow up of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas which has a positive impact on creating the proper educational and administrative environment.

He further lauded efforts undertaken the employees of the relevant authorities in the closing budget of the fiscal year 1438/1439 H including; following up and delivering payrolls of faculty members, employees, students rewards and different financial allocations to be deposited to the accounts of the beneficiaries at the precise time according to the applicable laws and regulations. He indicated that after approving the budget of the coming fiscal year by the monarch, it will be distributed to colleges, supportive deanships and different departments according to their needs and will have a positive impact on preparing the educational environment at the level of study halls by providing them with the latest equipment, or at the level of training programs to be conducted for the faculty members and employees. 

It should be mentioned here that the inspection visit of the UQU Vice President included departments of planning and budget, faculty members and employees affairs, financial department,  and procurement and tenders. During his visit, he met with the directors and employees of the mentioned departments and urged them to work diligently and exert much effort to upgrade Umm Al-Qura University to be one the world's leading universities.
