President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas paid an inspection visit to deanships of admission and registration and students affairs. He was accompanied by the Deputy Supervisor General of the General Department of Facilities and Services Eng. Yassir Khayyat to review work mechanism during the coming period including checking students marks for the current semester, adopting study schedules for the second semester, and the plan of students affairs for extra curricula activities which will hone students skills during the coming period.    

The visit of Dr. Assas came within his scheduled visits to the colleges, supportive deanships, and different departments at the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces to check on services provided to create proper educational and research environment. 

During his visit, Dr. Assas ordered all colleges, supportive deanships and departments to provide the best services for the male and female affiliates of the university in line with the support attached to the university by the wise government in such manner which contributed to providing the proper educational environment meeting the aspirations of the sons of this university. He then lauded directives and follow up of the Advisor to the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, and the follow up of the Deputy Emir of Makkah HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bander to all programs and activities of the university at its main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces. He also praised follow up of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Eesa which contributed significantly  to the excellence of the university's academic programs.    

"Conducting inspection visits on annual basis to the deanships which provide students services has become now a well-established tradition for the university administration so as to ensure that these services are provided in line with the highest standards", he elaborated, adding that these visits are conducted continuously to the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces in such manner which supports the educational and academic march and contribute to creating proper educational environment for the students by getting close to their wishes and implement them directly on the ground. 

Concluding his speech, Dr. Assas said that the university has the honor of providing services for more than 120 thousands of its affiliates at its main campus and branches.
