In cooperation between the Education College’s Department of Physical Education at Umm Al-Qura University, the General Directorate of Education in Makkah Region, and the Academy of Sports Sciences; a scientific symposium entitled (Injuries and Schools First Aid) was held on Thursday, 3-4-1439 AH, at 7:30 AM.  It was presented by Dr. Medhat Qassim Abdulraziq, professor of sports health science, along with Dr. Sultan bin Abdulsamad Al-Khidri, professor of sports movements science.

The scientific symposium witnessed a great presence and distinguished interaction because of its great importance on the health level of schoolchildren. It is also a vital issue because the session of physical activity and education requires the achievement of security and safety factors and good knowledge of first aid. It was attended by about 200 teachers and supervisors of physical education from the Department of Education in Makkah Region.
