Dr. Sahel bin Abdullah Wahib, Vice-Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies (ICRS) was named by The Development Commission of Makkah Al Mukarramah and Mashaaer (DCOMM) as an advisor to the committee assigned to boost Makkah identity. Wahib is a member of staff of the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences, College Of Makkah Community.
The committee is assigned to present ideas and projects needed to promote and protect the identity of Makkah in addition to following up initiatives and workshops held to maintain environmental, social, economic and cultural identity of the holy city. It discusses rules that guarantee implementation of suggested initiatives.
