Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan al-Harbi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, has chaired the final session of the 52nd Meeting of the Postgraduate Studies Council. The 1436/1437 meeting was held at the meeting chamber at the Postgraduate Studies Building and attended by the dean and the vice deans.
Dr. al-Harbi opened the session hailing the Postgraduate Studies Dean and the colleges' vice deans over their efforts in serving the community. He ended his speech by handing out memorial shields to the vice-deans in addition to the ex-vice deans who attended the meeting including Dr. Suhail bin Salem Al Harby and Dr. Abdullah Mehdar for their efforts to develop work at the deanship. He honored Mr. Fahd bin Faraj Allehyani, former managing director of of the dean over his blessed efforts while being in office. Also, he honored head of the Follow-up Unit Mohamed Maghraby over his role to organize the scientific process while he was on duty. He concluded his speech by thanking the attendees.
Dean of the Postgraduate Studies Professor Salih bin Abdullah Al-Firaih extended his thanks to the vice-president, saying his keenness and instant follow-up helped the deanship in achieving its goals. Al Firaih also hailed the president of Umm Al-Qura University for supporting the deanship's programs.
