President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas inked agreement of designs project of Umm Al-Qura Consultation Oasis with the CEO of Tilal Al-Namaa Real estate Investment Company a subsidiary of Wadi Makkah Company Dr. Wadee Barqawi. Present at the signing ceremony which took place at his office in Abdyia were the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi,  Imam and Preacher pf Grand Mosque, Dean of the College of D'awa and Islamic Theology Dr. Faisal Ghazawi, Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque and Member of the Teaching Staff of the College of D'awa and Islamic Theology Dr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Ghamd, Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari, and Vice Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute for Development and Business Implementation Dr. Sahl Waheeb.  

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas lauded the support attached to the university by the wise government which contributed to creating proper educational and research environment at the university main campus in Makkah and its branches in Jamoum, Al-Lith, Adhm and Al-Qunfudhah provinces indicating that Makkah Oasis project  is going to be a specialized center in consultancy and professional development in all fields required by the Labor Market in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan 2020. 

All the more, he added that the Umm Al-Qura Oasis Project comprises of Consulting Research and Studies Institute, Risk and Crisis Management Center (SAFE), and Unit of Continuing Medical Education which are among the university initiatives to achieve National Transformation Plan 2020. He then lauded follow-up and attention of the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Eesa. He also lauded efforts exerted by the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari and all the relevant authorities.  

For his part, the Dean of Consulting Research and Studies Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari said the initial designs of the project include training halls, a simulation of  Risk and Crisis Management Center (SAFE), Continuing Medical Education Unit and the headquarters of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute which is reckoned the university channel to local and regional community by such mean of providing consultancy services and research projects depending on academic expertise.  

He went on to add that Role of interactive simulation is considered in fields of training, medical and engineering qualification by rooting the concept of methods adopted in the engineering and medical facilities, pointing out that a high efficiency and quality training system will be provided at Umm Al-Qura Oasis. 

Concluding his speech, Dr. Al-Shaari lauded support and directives of UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas which contributed to creating high-quality training environment in the university.
