Jamoum University College’s Computer Department (Girls section) visited Wadi Makka Technology Company at the campus of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in Abideya on Wednesday, 25/03/1439 AH, by the participation of a group of students along with a number of the female faculty members to get to know the programs provided by the company, including startup incubators and others. They were received by the public relations official, who gave them a presentation on the company that included the company’s responsibilities and achievements as well.
Dr. Majid Abdullah, Head of Public Relations and Media, accompanied them in a tour of the company’s building to showcase the electronic sensors plant. Moreover, he encouraged the female students to put forward their ideas that may turn to be products and startups adopted by Wadi Makkah Company. Examples for that are: the smart cities company (Averos), the medical technologies company (Softcare), and (Tawseel) company.
