UQU President Honors Researchers Taking Part in the National Knowledge-Based Economy Plan 




President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas honored today Wednesday Rabi Al-Awal 18, 1439 H at his office in Abdyia the university researchers participating with research projects within the National Knowledge-Based Economy Plan funded by King Abdul-Aziz City for Science, Technology, and Innovation. These projects were also recognized by the American Association for Advanced Science ( AAAs). The honoring meeting was attended by the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahdal and the CEO of Wadi Makkah Technology Company  Dr. Faisal Al-Alaf.

 

He congratulated all researchers for their excellence in these research projects which were in line with the national plan and were funded by King Abdul-Aziz City for Science, Technology, and Innovation. He said achieving such excellence in these research reflects keenness and excellence of Umm Al-Qura Affiliates in the research field wishing them all success in serving their country and nation.    

 

For his part, the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahdal expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his support and encouragement which reflect the concern attached to the university affiliates as general and the faculty members in particular thus contributing to motivating  everyone to achieve aspirations of the rulers of this blessed country.  

 

Wrapping up the meeting, Dr. Assas honored the researchers amounting to 13 from different colleges and scientific departments of the university.
