President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas honored today Aroub Al-Hameedi, the female student in the Laboratories department, College of Applied Medical Sciences for winning the third best visual presentation in the Middle East Conference for Molecular biology held recently in Abu Dhabi under the supervision of Assistant Professor in the Department Dr. Ayman Al-Saegh. This came while he was receiving her father Mr. Abdullah Al-Hameedi, the Dean of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ahmed A'shi and the College Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Ayman Al-Saegh at his office in Abdyia campus today.
Meanwhile, Dr. Assas congratulated the father of the female student Aroub Al-Hameedi for the achievement made wishing her all success adding that such thing comes as no surprise as Umm Al-Qura students made many bright achievements in the past which we are proud of.
In turn, the Dean of the College Dr. Ahmed A'shi praised the keenness of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to honor Student Aroub Al-Hameedi adding that such honoring will stimulate her to work diligently and carry on the march of excellence.
