Dr. Essam Al-Qumaty delivered a scientific seminar on Tuesday 25 Safar 1439 AH titled: "RF MEMS Variable Inductor Applications in Mobile Phones". It was held in the presence of the Dean of Engineering College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Jaber Al-Zahrani; Vice-dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Al-Mokhalid; and acting Vice-dean for Training and Industrial Affairs, Dr. Obaid Al-Hadarity. The directors of both the Department of Engineering and Construction, and Industrial Engineering, and several faculty members were also present during the seminar.
As the seminar came to a close, the dean, vice-deans and attendees extended their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Qumaty for this distinct qualitative research that contributes to using modern scientific methods to develop electronic communication systems.
