The Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the College of Business and Economics, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), hosted a delegation from EURHODIP association to discuss the implementation of the Eurhoqual accreditation. This quality measure is a European standard designed to assess and enhance the quality of tourism and hospitality education.
Representing EURHODIP, the visit was led by Associate Professor Dr. Nafiya GUDEN, Vice President of EURHODIP. From the College of Business and Economics, several distinguished faculty members participated, including Vice Dean for the Female Section, Dr. Amal Alotaibi; Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Dr. Fatima Almaghrabi; and faculty members Prof. Yousery Elsayed, Prof. Hatem Radwan, Dr. Abdullah Abonomi, Dr. Majid Alharbi, and Dr. Bayan Monshi
This visit marks a significant step in the department’s journey toward achieving international standards of academic excellence. The collaborative discussions focused on aligning the department's curriculum and teaching practices with global benchmarks to enrich students' educational experience.
