The Department of English is pleased to announce the publication of a paper entitled Teaching Arabic-English legal translation using model texts: a mixed-method study by Dr. Abbas Brashi, Associate Professor of Linguistics and Translation at the Department, which was written in collaboration with Dr Muhammad M. M. Abdel Latif, Associate professor of TESOL/Applied Linguistics in Cairo University. The paper was published in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications on October 1, 2024. The research received grant no (236/2023) from the Arab Observatory for Translation (an affiliate of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization, ALECSO), which is supported by the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission, the Saudi Ministry of Culture.
