The Institute for Research and Consultancy Studies (Girls Section) has held a workshop titled: "Geographic Data Extraction from Google Earth" with instructor Dr. Basma Al-Rohaily, the faculty member at the Department of Geography. The workshop was held at the geography lab and targeted the students of the department. The workshop's different aspects were theoretically explained, and this was followed by a practical application of the extraction of several geographic locations from Google earth.
As the workshop came to a close, the trainees received attendance certificates that are certified
from the Deanship of Professional Accreditation Support.
