As part of its strategic objectives, Al-Qunfudhah Health Sciences College has launched community service plan for the academic year 1439 H by celebrating Global Handwashing Day (GHD) with the students Khalid bin Al-Waleed Intermediate School in Al-Qunfudhah where the community service team in the college including a group of college faculty members and students visited the school. During the visit the Public Health Professor in the college Ashraf Abdul-Azim presented an awareness lecture about the benefits of Handwashing. The audience engaged positively withy the lecturer.
The awareness lectures will continue throughout the academic year, Allah willing to achieve the college objective in serving the local community and increase level of environmental and health awareness of the community.
