The organizing committee of the First Saudi Startups Forum (SSF) held its second meeting at the office of Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) and Committee Chairman. The meeting was attended by Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi (UQU Vice-President for Development and Entrepreneurship), Dr. Faisal Allaf (Wadi Makkah CEO), Prof. Khaled Morsi (Head of the Public Relations Department at UQU) and Dr. Majed Abdullah (Head of the Public Relations Department at Wadi Makkah). It is worth mentioning that the forum is determined to be organized by Wadi Makkah Company on 15-17^th Safar 1439H at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah.  

During the meeting, the latest arrangements and equipment reached by the committees working at the Forum were discussed and followed up. Moreover, developments in terms of reception of guests, and the facilities of the Forum’s rooms were also reviewed.

For his part, Dr. Assas appreciated the role played by the working committees in the Forum. He also commended their concern for the distinction of such occasion in order for it to come out distinctively and appropriately with the follow-up of Dr. Hani Ghazi and the staff.

On the other hand, Dr. Hani Ghazi extended his deep thanks and gratitude to Dr. Assas for his support for and interest in the Forum, innovative persons, entrepreneurs and the knowledge economy system. He also pointed out that the Forum would achieve, God willing, the desired objectives in line with KSA Vision 2030.
