UQU Wadi Makkah Co. has participated in GITEX 2017 in Dubai within the pavilion of the Saudi Exports Development Authority along with tens of other Saudi technical companies. Wadi Makkah presented all of its innovation products for emerging enterprises, which grossed large sales for public and private sector and attracted domestic and international investors. Such products included: Averos' CoreBlu and Loris, NaviBees, and Lucidya in addition to Tawseel app, biokubes platform and other Wadi Makkah Co. subsidiaries. 

GITEX 2017 is one of the largest commercial events in Dubai. It's considered a gate to the Middle East for the major world brands. Thanks to the large sales, impact on market, and attracting investors, Wadi Makkah Co. invited to the event by the Saudi Exports Development Authority.  

Within the same vein, the UQU Vice-president for Development and Entrepreneurship and the Vice-chairman of Wadi Makkah Co., Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, reiterated that the company's participation in such events comes out of keenness to be a successful entrepreneurial model in knowledge economy and in line with Vision 2030. He lauded the support and dedicated efforts of the UQU President and Chairman of Wadi Makkah co., Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas, in the companies' activities and programs since it's the investment actor of UQU that should maintain a prestigious status.

On his part, Wadi Makkah Co. CEO, Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Allaf, stated that the participation of Wadi Makkah emerging enterprises in GITEX asserts the high quality of their products and ability to break into world markets, praising the support and concern of the UQU President and the UQU Vice-president for Development and Entrepreneurship and the Vice-chairman of Wadi Makkah. He appreciated how they were keen to participate in such world fairs and forums, which are considered client-attracting environments and major platforms to introduce and promote emerging enterprises across the world.                                                                   

 It's worth mentioning that Wadi Makkah delegation to GITEX included  the UQU Vice-president for Development and Entrepreneurship and the Vice-chairman of Wadi Makkah Co., Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, Wadi Makkah Co. CEO, Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Allaf, and Supervisor-general of Wadi Makkah Business Incubators and Accelerators, Dr. Abudllah Ahmed Murad.
