On Tuesday, 13/1/1439 H, the Vice-presidency of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research held its second meeting for the tenth standard of scientific research to discuss the outcomes of self-evaluation for institutional accreditation. It was chaired by the Vice-president for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Hamdan Al-Harbi with participation of the seven research entities:
· Deanship of Scientific Research
· Deanship of Graduate Studies
· The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research
· Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage
· Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute
· Institute of Research and Consultation Studies
· Wadi Makkah Company
The meeting was attended by representatives from male and female campuses.
Al-Harbi called upon all concerned participants to ensure accuracy and complete indicators evaluation as soon as possible. Then, the Vice-dean of Scientific Research for Development, Dr. Hanadi Behairy made a presentation summarizing the recommendations of the national authority for the tenth standard, updated achievements, priorities of improvement, and scientific research recommendations for research bodies.
Notable attendees included, the Vice-president of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir Al-Harbi, Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ahdal, Chairman of Wadi Makkah Co., Faisal Allaf, Vice-dean of Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage, Dr. Nasir Al-Shahrani, Vice-dean of Scientific Research for Research Centers, Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar, and Vice-dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Faisal Barwis. Representatives from female branch included, Vice-dean of Scientific Research for Quality, Development and Academic Accreditation, Dr. Maysoun Al-Bonian, Vice-dean of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Faizah Al-Luhiani, Vice-dean of Research and Consultation Studies, Dr. Amira Al-Khasfian, and deputy heads of research centers.
