On Monday, Muharram 12, 1439H, Dr. Bakrin M. Assas, UQU President, at his office in al-Abidiya Campus, checked on the arranges of the 1^st Saudi Startups Form (SSF), to be organized by Makkah TechnoValley (Wadi Makkah) on Safar 15-17, 1439H, under the patronage HRH Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Emir of Makkah, Prince Khaled al-Faisal. The Forum will be opened by HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Makkah, at Jeddah Ritz-Carlton. Present at the Forum inauguration will be members of the organizing committee, Dr. Hani O. Ghazi, UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, and Vice President of Makkah TechnoVally Company, Dr. Faisal A. Allaf, CEO of Makkah TechnoValley, Dr. Talal Maghrabi, Supervisor of the Saudi Startups Forum, Mr. Khaled Morsi, Head of UQU Public Relations Department, and Dr. Majed Abdullah, Head of TechnoValley Public Relations.

Dr. Assas listened to an elaborate account of the ongoing arrangements for the forum, presented by Dr. Maghrabi. He tackled many aspects; from the reception of participants, their participations, the forum program, and publications to be displayed during the forum. Besides, he took a look at the Forum's media campaign targeting individual entrepreneurs and investors, as well as directors of bold capital funds, and all those interested in entrepreneurship in KSA at social media. After that, he watched the promo of the Forum.

Dr. Assas called on everybody to do their best in an endeavor to organize the Forum in an honorable manner, that lives up to the high expectations. Meanwhile, he praised the colossal efforts being made, wishing them the best of luck.

For his part, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani O. Ghazi, thanked the UQU President for his keen interest in the Forum, and following up all activities related to it, with a view to realizing its objectives, that go in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
