The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Ma'touq Assas received the internship year training portfolio of Al-Laith College of Health Sciences from the Dean, Dr. Tarek bin Abdullah Ahmed Zafar, at his office in Abbideyah Campus.

Assas listened to a detailed explanation of the portfolio from Zafar, who stated that the guide covered the related bylaws and regulations and the required skills for internship year students. He noted that training portfolios were distributed to all students in a number of hospitals and that the college officials made weekly field visits to student training locations to ensure proper training is given in accordance with portfolio descriptions. Finally, he lauded the support and follow-up of the UQU president, which helped improve the college.

On his part, Assas praised the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for education across the Kingdom, lauding the efforts of the Dean, Dr. Tarek Zafar in improving education and research environment.
