On Wednesday, 20/9/2017, the Dean of Institute of Research & Consultation Studies, Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaeri, signed a training agreement with the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage, represented Dr. Adnan Al-Sharif, and the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts, represented by Dr. Faisal Al-Hafian. Present was the Vice-dean of Institute of Research & Consultation Studies for Professional Accreditation, Dr.Sahal bin Abdullah Wahib.
The agreement aims to implement training programs and specialized courses in manuscript science and collaboration with various institutions to serve th homeland in line with Vision 2030.
Dr. Al-Shaeri stated that this collaboration is to develop performance through specialized training and reinforcing partnership with UQU internal and external entities to serve the Kingdom. He added that the institute makes use of all available resources to drive forward the Makkh community in particular and the nation in general.
He concluded his speech with thanking the UQU President, Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas for following up and supporting the institute's activities and programs.
