A delegation from Wadi Makkah Company participated in IASP 2017, one of the most established conferences concerned with research environment development, creativity and entrepreneurship in Turkey.

Members of the delegation included the CEO, Dr. Faisal bin Ahmed Allaf, and Dr. Mohamed Qassim Ibrahim, a professor at Computer and Information Systems College.
During the event, Ibrahim presented a work paper on "Commercial Transformation Experience of Researches at Wadi Makkah Co. and UQU". He addressed how UQU successfully managed in collaboration with Wadi Makkah Co. to turn its researches into emerging companies' products that broke into local and regional markets.

On this part, Allaf expressed delight for participating in such international conference that represents a large network of decision makers in sciences and creativity around the world, which is a golden opportunity to exchange experiences and share the company's success story.

The Vice-president for Development and Entrepreneurship and the Vice-chairman of Wadi Makkah Co., Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, stressed the importance of participation in such international conferences, especially that the company is a member in that international association for science parks and areas of innovation, and should share its experience in entrepreneurship with those interested around the world. he then extended thanks to the UQU President and Chairman of Wadi Makkah Co., Dr. Bakri bin Ma'touq Assas for providing support and making sure Wadi Makkah is present in notable international conferences related to innovation and entrepreneurship, complying with the kingdom's objectives with regard to entrepreneurship support.

It's worth mentioning that a number of participants lauded Wadi Makkah Co.' incredible experience in business acceleration, which reflects the success of concerned partners in creating a proper entrepreneurship environment in line with Vision 2030.
