The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, assigned Prof. Dr. Adnan bin Muhammad bin Fayez Al-Harithi Al-Sharif as Dean of the Deanship of Library Affairs as of 11^th Muharram 1439H until further notice. This is in addition to his work as Dean of the Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of Islamic Heritage.

Dr. Assas wished that Allah, the Almighty, would help and guide Prof. Dr.  Al-Sharif towards the performance of duty towards science and students and the development of this university to achieve the desired objective.
