Being keen on developing the students’ skills in the Jummum University College, and highlighting the quality of the educational process and meeting some of the academic accreditation requirements, the Computer Science Department hosted a workshop on the microcontrollers programming and its applications. The Dean of Jammum University College, Prof. Faisal ibn Abdul-Qadir Baghdadi; the Acting Vice-dean and Head of the Computer Science Department Prof. Yousief ibn A’ayd Alota’abi and the Deputy-head of the Department Ms. Uhud Yahia Alzahrani closely took charge organizing it. Ms. Sana’a ibn Sasai presented the workshop.
The workshop witnessed huge turnout to the effect that as close as 120students attended it. She showed great interest in that regard.
Ms. Sana’a tackled key topics such as electronic circuits and the way of programming microcontrollers. Also, she set examples using the microcontroller.
Still, the students were trained on studying and designing a project using the microcontrollers. All the more, Ms. Sana’a affixed hopes that such a workshop bear fruit in a manner that contribute to developing the student’s capacities and instilling into them interest in innovation on the field of robot building and smart houses.
