On behalf of all UQU staff, the UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Ma'touq Assas offered congratulations on the 87th Saudi National Day to HRH King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the honorable Crown Prince, the entire royal family, and the Saudi people.
Assas reiterated that the national day overwhelms all of us with sentiments of love and loyalty to the Kingdom and its holy sites, capabilities, acquisitions, and wise leadership since the reign of the founder, the late King AbdulAziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud till the prosperous reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who have exerted valuable efforts towards the glory of the Kingdom till it has become a decision maker in continental, international, and regional forums to serve Arab and Muslim world.
He said, "Our celebration of the 87th Saudi National Day commemorates the reality of our homeland and people with all the accomplishments that we pride ourselves on". Assas maintained that education is one of the pillars of our strong Kingdom, indicating that high education took leaps and bounds with the establishment over 35 universities, 24 of which are public universities. Additionally, there are tens of colleges and specialized institutes scattered nationwide. He finally noted that Saudi graduates have become renowned and even proved superior over their peers in several international universities and scientific specialties.
